The Challenge
The client needed to enable data extraction from equipment and send it to their data lake in a harmonized and contextualized way, structured to standards that would allow the data to be used for analysis. This process was entirely manual: a data steward had to install a driver and manually search for metadata—a complicated workflow prone to errors and inconsistencies.
Automate the Process
Deus Duck automated this entire workflow. All metadata was extracted and catalogued. Naming conventions, record types, and governance standards were established as reference. Equipment data is now extracted and harmonized automatically—eliminating manual effort, reducing errors, and ensuring full compliance with governance standards.
